These are some of the ways that I use to keep in touch with you. If one fails, there is always a back-up. I need several options depending on how critical my message to you might be.
The reason I need your cell number is so I can send you short text messages as reminders of upcoming events and especially to remind you about missing assignments or make-up work. Believe me, when a situation develops with the research paper, you will be glad that I can get to you quickly.
