Asking Interview Questions
- Avoid questions that can be answered by "yes" or "no".
- Ask questions that encourage your subjects to talk.

Being an Active Listener
- Really lisaten instead of thinking "What will I ask next?"
- If the person makes a surprising remark, follow up on it. Be willing to leave your prepared list of questions.
- Watch the person's body language. Watch for a raised eyebrow, a sudden grin, a frown, a glance at the clock. What does it show about the person's feelings?
- Listen for good quotes and write them down, Later, have the person approve your written quotation.
