My Uncle

Have you ever given up on something you try to build or put together? Have you ever gotten mad or upset? I have, but someone has been there to make me feel better. That person is my uncle. He is very optimistic, and he tells me never to give up. If I have trouble on something, he will make me work it out by myself. He can always do anything he wants. He finds out how to make and do things.

A few weeks ago, my uncle came to my house to stay with my family for a week. He came straight from Germany .He does not have a house. Therefore, he came to my house to stay for a couple of weeks. Since I just moved to Woodbridge, the blinds for the windows were not put up. My dad and I tried to put up the binds, but there were some pieces that were missing. The next day I came home, and my uncle had put up the blinds. He explained that he made replica of the missing pieces. That showed me just how creative he was.

My uncle is very strong. He works out at gyms. When we had to carry large and heavy bags, he carried four while my dad could only carry two. My uncle is pretty short, he is also bald. He used to have an Afro, but he decided to cut his hair. He is humorous. He can always relax people. Whenever someone was mad, he says something funny to calm them down. I use the same technique with my friends now.

Mezmur is optimistic. He tells me not to give up on anything. Last year, I played in a basketball league. The top three players of each team get chosen to play in the MCI Center. I never thought I would get chosen, so I did not care much about it. My uncle, however, thought I was great and could make it. He told me to practice daily, so I did. Amazingly I got chosen. It was the greatest moment in my life, thanks to Mezmur.

Mezmur is very special to me. He is my favorite uncle. He always makes me laugh even when I am sad or mad. He helps me out whenever I am in trouble. He not only helps me out, but he helps several people. He can always make friends because he is so easygoing. He never gets mad or sad, he is always happy. That is why Mezmur is special to me.

All About Me Essay

There are numerous activities that I participate in after school. First, I go to school and do what I am assigned. After school I do my homework. When I finish my chores, I play basketball with my brother on the driveway. I also play football with my friends. I used to ride my bike, but since my tires became flat, I can’t ride it anymore. I don’t always go outside. Sometimes, when it rains outside, I watch T.V. or play video games.

There are a few high and low points in my life. Some of my high points are that I made the all-star team for the basketball league. All the all-stars got to play in the MCI center before a Wizards game. Another thing is that I graduated from elementary school. Now I am an adult and I have more privileges than I had in elementary school. Also, I am very happy to move into my big house in Woodbridge. Even with my high points there are also many low points in my life. My uncle died one year ago and that was the worst thing that has happened to me. Another bad thing that happened to me was that I moved from my best friends. I have been friends with them for them for six years. Those are my high and low points in my life.

My dreams and goals are like most of the people I know. I really want to get all “A’s” on my report card. Since I like basketball, I thought of trying out for the Saunders basketball team, so that would be another of my goals. I also want to continue playing basketball and make that my career. Those are my dream and goals.
