Page 1: Fall All about me/character sketch

I have a whole bunch of activities I do every day. I always do my homework first when I get home. When I finish around 3:30pm, I get ready for dance class at Dance Etc. My dance instructors name is Mrs. Bowen. When I come home I like to take a nap before dinner. Sometimes during diner I like to watch television or go online. In my life, I think I’ve had a few high points. My high point are getting an award in dance class in honor of being the best student, and my other high point is getting straight “Bs” in the fifth grade. Unlike my high points, I have two very sad low points. I have moved form Arlington, VA, my hometown. My second low point I have is very depressing. I had two uncles that died before they even turned one year old. Thankfully, those are the only low points I have had so far. In me, I think I like to set high goals. At home, I have a note pad that has 107 activities that I want to do. Two of my goals are to become a professional dancer and go sky diving one day. Those are my dreams. My goal is to get straight “A’s” this year in all four grading periods.Have you ever wondered how it likes to be an only child?

Edwin is the one name and person who probably knows me as well as my mom. Edwin is my seven-year-old cousin. To me, he acts like a little brother I never had. We are five years difference in age. He is the best cousin I have had so far. Even though he can be weird sometimes, but I know he means well. He is very sweet, and he is just as good of a cousin.

Edwin is naturally curious. We both love thinking about having an adventure where we get lost, but have fun. Sometimes, when I go to the mall, he likes to go with me just to have a sort of adventure. I remember, once we went to Spring Field Mall to buy new shoes for me. He was such a curious little monkey that he wondered into the women’s department, and I had to go get him. He was asking so many questions that were so silly. Now, whenever we go to the store I like to say, “ My little monkey is not going to run off today, right.”

When someone persuades someone so easily, it is being vulnerable. Edwin described in one word is vulnerable! I remember as if it was yesterday. We were at my grandma’s house. He had been playing outside and had a white shirt on. He has had a birthmark on his chest since he was born. To have some fun I told him that he had that birthmark because he was going to die earlier. He started to cry, and I got all sad because I thought he was going to tell his mom, so I told him that it was not true. To make him feel better, I told that his birthmark was a sign that he was going to live longer.

Edwin is so special to me because he is one of a kind. Edwin is here when I need him. Edwin is a very good listener, and he considers himself as very “helpful”. He can act or be very looney sometimes but that is just how he is. As I said before, he is like the little brother I never had. That is why he is so special to me. He is my inspiration.
