Character Sketch Grandma Friday Have you ever wondered how you could have saved someone’s life? If yes, then does it ever bother you? I have wondered about it, and it bothers me every day. When I was five my Grandma Friday died from a blood clot in her broken leg, which spread to her lungs. The doctor did not notice this blood clot. My parents and I have felt guilty about not taking her to a different doctor, and she might have lived. I have a fair amount of stories about her, and here are a few of them. My grandma was one of the smartest people I knew. Everyone thinks that if you are smart than you look like a nerd. My grandma was smart and looked like what people call a “normal” person. My mom was once telling me that my grandma with her brown hair and brown eyes, walked up to the front of the auditorium to receive her Phi Beta Kappa key to show that she had the highest grade point average in her college class. She had always kept that key to remind her of her outstanding grades as a younger person. My grandma was a smart person and went on to become a teacher and a librarian. My grandma was also a very helpful person. My mom was telling me that almost everyone who came to the public library where grandma worked and had trouble finding what they wanted would ask for my grandma. People would say that she was a wonderful person who helped them and also started conversations with them. No matter what the people asked my grandma, she would find an answer. She was helpful, and everyone loved her. My grandmother was a very friendly person. She always had a smile on her face. People who came up to her with problems always left feeling relaxed and extremely happy. She never picked fights with anyone or made anybody angry. She had many friends and liked to hang out with them or have a cup of tea with them. Everyone always said that grandma was the friendliest person they knew. I wish my grandma were still living. She was a great person, and I really miss her. Although she passed away when I was five, I remember everything about her. The way she looked, the way she smiled, and the way she loved me. My grandma was a great person, and I want everyone to know what a great person she was. I want to pay tribute to a person who made a big difference in my life. All About Me Essay I do many activities every day. One of the activities I do almost every day is go to my football practice. On the evenings that I don’t have football practice, I do my homework and practice my oboe. When I am done with my homework and practicing, I go play outside with my friends. Those are the activities I do every day. Throughout the twelve years of my life, there have been many high points and low points. The first high point in my life was getting my Sheltie puppy named Baki. What I really liked was going to Glacier National Park on vacation with my family. I also enjoyed getting second place in Henderson Elementary’s fifth grade Spelling Bee. Two low points in my life have been my grandma and my dog, Tovie, dying within two years of each other. Another low point was September Eleventh 2001. There have been many high and low points in my life. I have a couple of dreams and one main goal in my life. My goal has always been to be a good student and get good grades. One of my dreams is to operate my own book publishing company. I also dream of becoming a millionaire and owning a gigantic mansion in Montana. Another dream I have is to become a major architect and become wealthy to support. my family and myself. I always try to live up to my goal and make my dreams come true. ![]() Page 1: Fall Page 2: Winter Page 3: Research Paper Page 4: Spring Page 5: End-Of-Year Reflections | |
