Character sketch Missy Along comes a special person you are usually glad to see. A person who pushes you really hard. She knows you have potential so every meeting is demanding. This person expects almost perfection. This person challenges me and always gives me words of encouragements. This person is my swim coach of five years, Coach Missy Hayden. Coach Missy is a great achiever. She has swum most of her life. Her favorite stroke is the butterfly. She is a very good swimmer, and has many awards from it. Missy is very pretty. She has dirty blonde hair to her shoulders, Green eyes, and she is a normal height. She is married and has two girls one is a year old and the other one is seven. Missy is very helpful. She was very helpful when I joined the Amberjax. I never have liked the breaststroke. Missy has taught me how to swim it. This year after swimming on swim teams almost all my life. I can swim it good and fast. I have never swum it in a swim meet. I am going to swim it in the next swim meet, which is a week. I cannot wait! Lastly Missy is very patient. She is patient at swim teams sometimes. I thing it depends if she is having a good or bad day. Most days she is having a good day. She is patient because we do things wrong and usually she does not get mad. I do not like it when she is having a bad because then if we do things wrong she makes us do push ups. Missy is so special to me because of her great influence. She has been an influential person in my life for five years. She taught me how to do other swim strokes besides my favorite the butterfly. She will be a great influence through out my life, and I will always remember her devotion to my swim team and me. All about me! On a daily basis, I have quite a routine I follow. Beside the usual get up, bed making, get ready for school routine, I try add variety to my day. After school each day, I go to my swim team practice for an hour. After I come home and have dinner, I try to devote twenty minutes of my time practicing violin. The best part of my day is when all the required things are done and I get to play with my little sister. I am very fortunate to be able to say that I have had very few low points in my life. Maybe the worst point being that school started or that my hamster ran away. I have since adjusted to school starting, and I even found my hamster! Without a doubt, the best thing that has ever happened to me was the birth of my little sister, Meredith. She is a blast. A close second greatest experience was the first time I flew with my family to Europe. We love to travel toghter. After many years of playing defense for my soccer team, I got to play forward position and quickly scored a goal. That was thrilling! I have to goals set for myself. I would like to get straight “A’s” on my report card. I also hope that from all my long hours of swim practice, that I will have the privilege of representing the U.S.A in a summer Olympics. I often dream of being a research scientist that finds a cure to all types of cancer. I sure hope that dream comes true! Since I enjoy traveling so much, I hope to take a fun field trip around the world, with my mom who also dreams of this adventure. ![]() Page 1: Fall Page 2: Winter Page 3: Research Paper Page 4: Spring Page 5: End-Of-Year Reflections | |
