All About Me

There are many activities I do every day. Some of these are cooking, sewing, going on the computer, and hanging out with friends. When I get home from school the first activity I do is my homework. Then I help my mom with dinner. If I am not helping my mom with dinner I sew or hangout with my friends. The only reason I do all that is because I am not aloud to go on the computer or watch T.V. before dinner. Those are the activities I do every day.

There are many high and low points in my life. Two high points in my life are getting my puppy two weeks before Easter and I got a perfect score on my sixth social studies SOL. There are also some low points in my life are my Papa from my dad’s side and my grandma from my mom’s side died. Another low point in my life was when I was four years old and I was burned on my leg and my arm from hot garlic oil. Those are the highs and lows in my life.

When I was very little I really wanted to play the violin since then my dreams and goals have changed. Now I would like to be a pastry chief and maybe an artist. Maybe not a famous artist but that would not be bad either. Those are some dreams and goals in my life.

Character Sketch Katie

Did you ever have a friend that helps you out when you first move to a new area? My friend’s name is Katie. She did that for me when I first moved to Virginia from Washington. I was going into fifth grade, and Katie was going into sixth grade. That summer she introduced me to all her friends in the neighborhood. She also made me comfortable with my move.

Katie is funny and fun to be around. On home coming night, last year no one was home at her house because her parents were chaperoning, it and her brother and sister were there. We decided to have a sleep over at her house and bake many of Halloween cookies. All night long, she was screaming and yelling “HI LA” and random things like that. I started to laugh so hard that I fell down and started crying. Later on, we decided to eat a delicious homemade cookie and when I broke mine open and took a bite, I found a blonde hair in it. The rest of the night I keep screaming at her to get a hair net, we stayed up all night telling silly stories and funny jokes.

Kate is also goofy. I know she is not two. Sometimes she acts like it. We went to a Fright Feast for Halloween at a miniature golf course. She went up to the “monsters” asking them silly questions in the silliest ways like “What’s your name” or “Is that paint on our face” and “Doesn’t it itch?”

Katie is very nice. One time, someone was staying at our house, and his dog ran away. I called Katie, up and she was nice enough to help even though she was doing homework. When we were riding our bikes around looking for the dog, I hit a bump in the road and fell. I scraped my leg on my metal petal. Katie was nice enough to walk me home.

Katie is special to me because she was there for me when I first moved in. she is also kind funny and goofy. We have some things in common like going shopping, baking, and hanging out with friends. We also go everywhere together. Katie is one of the best friends you can get!
