Character Sketch Do you want to enter the ‘exciting’ world of a very special person? Do you want to learn about someone who is everything at once? Then you have picked up the right book because that special person is my mom! My mom is impatient. Every time she needs the big kitchen bowl, her five feet and eight inches cannot exactly get it off the shelf. She will not even bother to ask Dad for help because, as she says, “He’s as slow as molasses going uphill on a cold day.” Mom does not even give me a chance to try and get the bowl down. She would just kill her bony arms and drag a stool over to the shelf so she can get the bowl. Then the next day, she’ll be in pain all day and she will not tell anybody. Mom is predictable. Every day, even if she feels horrible, she’ll watch Judge shows from 3 o’clock until five. She’s a stopwatch. Not once, that I can remember, has Mom missed her show. Actually, there was one time when she, did and she was sad for hours. My mom is dependable, even if she goes overboard sometimes. She was feeling horrible one day and we were out of milk. Instead of waiting until Dad got home, she got up and went to go get the milk herself. The next day, she felt really crummy. She’s so stubborn sometimes. My mom is important to me because she is my one and only mom. I spend more time with her then anyone else. She teaches me everything and is the best role model there is. Mom is a mixture of everything, and that is why she is so special to me. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx All About Me I do quite a bit of things everyday, those important, those not so important. I go to school like any other book-happy ‘child’. I socialize with my buds there and learn there… and learn there. Everyday after school, I go on my Playstation 2 to kill the time, after homework, of course. My favorite game is Final Fantasy X. If I could, FFX would be the only thing I do every day. The high points in my life are more memorable, or fun to remember, then the low ones, like when I got my cat, Mittens. Another good point in my life was the Junior National Young Leadership Society. Though the food wasn’t so hot, I had an incredible time. Though it may seem silly, a low point in my life was my first detention. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it’d be. Another not-so-good point in my life was when grandpa died. I didn’t really know him well, but I really miss him. My dreams are weird. For one, I want to fly. My dreams of being a video game designer could be a goal, but I have not made up my mind. I have always been a visual, even if what I make is weird. My drawings have always been okay even if what I draw is weird. If not a video game designer, I could write books, create movies, work at McDonald’s. Ha! My goal is obvious: to get good grades, to leave school just as book-happy as I entered, and to go to college a book-happy weirdo. ![]() Page 1: Fall Page 2: Winter Page 3: Research Paper Page 4: Spring Page 5: End-Of-Year Reflections | |
