-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ebony Pd.2 Character sketch Ashley Jones Have you ever had A very close friend? Until someone spread a bad rumor that is. It all started the second week of school, me, Ashley, and Shaniqua were walking Home from school. I walked by them an waved, all the sudden, “LEAVE ME ALONE”. I was of course shocked, wondering what In the world I had done. When returned home my phone began to ring, “hello?” Hey Ebony this is Shaniqua, I was just wondering Ashley? “ I did not say anything to anyone about Ashley, so I wish people would stop saying that I did”.So that’s the problem in my story.And even though we are going through some trouble I still really, really trust her. Shes the most reliable person that I know, and theresNothing that I would ever have to hide from her. She gives me great advice, and listen to What I have to say, even when she’s not interested in what im saying.% no matter what happens to this odd situation, she will always be like a big sister to me. Im hoping that she feels the same…One day someone told me that she spread a rumor about someone me liking someone, but I believed her when she told me it wasn’t true, also my family really likes her, and she’s very sweet to my sisters. Ashley is very humorous, and even when she’s mad she tries to keep a decent attitude. Of course she cant always keep a positive attitude, but that’s ok because she’s still a child, and all children make mistakes. She’s also very social and loves to talk on the phone, I’m glad that we are the same age, It helps us to understand each other a little better, ( of course we are not exactly the same age) but I still understand and except her for who she is. Ashley really enjoys to dance, every time I come over she’s always dancing.% There was one time Shaniqua, Ashley, and I were all dancing in Ashley’s living room, all the sudden we hear a big CLUNK!!! When Shaniqua and I turned around to look, there was Ashley laying back down on the floor. It was hilarious! During the summer we were all going to do a dance group, but Ashley decided to do cheerleading instead.% It just so happens that she didn’t make the team, she was so mad. Shaniqua and I decided to take her out for ice-cream, afterwards she felt much better. She really appreciates when we do special things for her, but of course that’s what friends are for. Now finally I apologized to Ashley,(even though I didn’t want to) and now we are friends again, and I enjoy spending time with her. I am so glad that I’m where I am because drawing is something I love to do. I like to look at things and draw because I like to see how close I can get to the original picture. I’ve been dancing since I was little, and now I can do just about any dance. its also great exercise because I dance for about two hours. Another thing I do is sing. That’s my favorite thing to do. I have been in chorus, band , and choir. % Finally, I got my chance to show the people what my practice has done. I went to a real recording studio, and they made me a CD. They said my voice was great, They E-mailed me to say that they wanted me to sing in their song that they wrote! Last but not lest, I love to make clothes that I draw because its my very own creation. Those are my everyday things. % I have plenty of high and low points.The best day of my life was when I made my own CD in a record studio. Another is when I passed the sixth grade. I was so happy, and The graduation party wa s real cool. The school dance was also nice because We got the teachers to dance. Iv also had a couple low points, like when I got held back, and when I had to move from Arizonia. %Dreams are also a very Important part of my life because one time I had a dream that I was getting into Murder INC record studio. Another is that someday ill become an artist. My goals are only to make all “A’s and B’s”, to make the honor roll because id love that. My other goals are to get into a good college. That all about me. %
