C.J. Dawson Nov.12, 2004 Period 1 Character Sketch of Tyc Snow} Have you ever had a person that you look up to and you think he is almost perfect? His name is Tyc Snow short for Tycicaus. My brother Kyle was accepted for the IB program at Stonewall Jackson High School. On the first day of school, my brother met another freshman named Tyc Snow. Tyc was my brother’s best friend throughout the year.

Tyc is a very intelligent person. He made straight “A’s” at Stonewall Jackson High School, Time Magazine high school of the year. When Tyc got into Stonewall, he was in the IB program. Schools like Virginia Tech accept people if they are in the IB program, and they can get into that school easier.

Tyc was also very athletic; he made the varsity basketball team as a freshman and started as a point guard at only five-foot nine inches. He was unstoppable. His speed, his strength, his jumping ability was God given talent. Tyc would practice every day. At the end of the year, the district gathers all the best basketball players around the district and has a hoop fest. Tyc was in the slam-dunking contest, and he did not win, but he surely gave the fans something to cheer about. To see someone that short and leap up in the air just leaves you breathless.

Tyc was very brave at five-foot nine inches he goes to dunk the ball as if he is a six-foot seven senior. He is not afraid of anything. All the games I went to he would not be scared of any team that he was playing. He would just go out there and try his best. What freshman would have the guts to try out for the varsity basketball team at the most leadership position Point guard Tyc was very persistent. He never let himself down. He was always on top of everything. It seemed as if he was precise every shot he took. He was so smooth as if he did it a million times. My brother would come home and tell me how smart he was.

The reason why Tyc is so special to me is My Mom and I went to every game. He always sat next to My Brother and me before the games. He would ask me how am I doing in school and who do I play basketball for. Tyc was a great person. He never cursed, never put you down nothing, and I sat next to him each game for four years. Tyc was my admirer; I would look up to him. He is a (Good basketball player and an A student). Tyc ending up graduating from Stonewall Jackson high school and going to a division 1 school and playing basketball there.
