Character Sketch Barbarita Z. Brown Has there been anybody who has been there for you through thick and thin? You are going through a bad time and somebody’s there for you to cry on their nice shirt or their nice suit. Barbra is what we call her. She is a kind-hearted person. Barbarita Zeriahia Brown is her name. My grandma is very loveable. When I was at her house for the summer, either I would go to the mall or we would go out to eat. It was this one time we went to this place called “ Shakeys” and I ordered a Blt. They gave me the wrong order, and I was somewhat mad. My grandma said, “ Breona don’t worry about it, it’s just a sandwich, be happy that you can get one.” What she said was very understandable. I cooled down and ate the sandwich. That is why we call her the kind mama. However, sometimes she could get a little out of hand. My grandma is a very helpful person. I remember when she would go to church early Saturday morning, make sandwiches, and give out grapes, corn to the homeless. That is someone who is helpful. My grandmother is the best grandma around. Being friendly can be very useful. One thing is you get to know many people. Second thing means you are not afraid to talk to people. That is exactly like my grandma. That is why wherever she goes, somebody always talks to her. When she has done talking, I ask her, “Grandma who was that?” and she will say, “That’s my friend.” She even said it herself that she knows many people. Intelligent people are good to know. When I talk to my grandma, it is a big situation because she likes to listen to what you have to say. She has all ears when you are talking to her. I remember this one time when she was talking to my cousin and the phone rang. I answered it and told her, “Grandma, telephone!” she told me to tell the person to call her back. I have never seen somebody who refused a call when talking to somebody. Normally you would say, “Excuse me, can I take this call?” However, she did not even say that. My grandma is important to me because she is very generous. She does not care who you are she would talk to you. She is actually the friendliest person I know. She is the best grandma I could ever have. All about Me The things that I do everyday are like a typical teenage girl. What I do is talk on the phone. That is sort of like my hobby. I also go shopping. Either I go to the mall or I will go to places like Fashion Bug. I also do cheerleading. I cheer for the Dale City Sports Club. That has football and cheerleading. The thing I like most is going places. The places I go the most are Pentagon City and/or Springfield Mall. High points in my life are important to me. My high points are making good grades. That's the first one. My second high point is making the seventh grade; some people do not make it. Therefore, that is a high point. A low point in my life would have to be my uncles going to Iraq. I really didn't want them to go. I am glad they are back. One of them might have to go back. I am just happy there here. Most of my dreams are expensive. What I really want to be is a lawyer. I want to do that because it is more successful. I want to have at least two children. I say my dreams are expensive because being a lawyer costs lots of money to go to college. My goal is to make at least both honor rolls. I really want to make the principals honor roll. If I make the "A B" honor roll, it will be okay. If I make it, then my mom will give me an award. The award would most likely to be money.
