Fall
My Dream Room Palm trees are swaying in the warm breeze. The soft scent of plumeria is in the air. In the distance, waves crash on the shore. My dream room would be paradise. The walls of my room are painted a soft, sky blue. The room is a simple rectangle with tropical fans on the high ceiling. The door to my sanctuary is in the corner of the room. To the right of the door is a large, potted plumeria plant. Plumerias are scattered all around the room. Farther to the right are two large beds with palm trees for bedposts. In between the beds is a tropical drink machine. One of the beds is in the corner of the room with the head of the bed on the north wall and the side of the bed on the west wall. At the foot of the palm tree bed is a television. Next to the television is the door to the restroom. There are two windows on the west wall. One is by the bed; the other is by the lawn chair, in the corner. At the foot of the lawn chair, in the corner of the room is a waterfall, falling from the ceiling into a small pool on the floor. The pool is surrounded by large rocks and is the home of many tropical fish. On the south wall, there is a large desk. On the desk are a computer, a printer, and everything I need to complete schoolwork. To the left of the desk is a chaise with lots of pillows. To the left of the chaise is a small square table with books on it. In the corner, next to the table is the door to the closet. French doors open onto the balcony. The French doors are on the east wall. To the left of the doors is a huge fish tank. The tank has many clownfish, angelfish, and brightly colored starfish in it. To the left of the fish tank is a snack machine. To the left of the snack machine is the door that leads in and out of my room. In my room, I would relax, exercise, do schoolwork, read, or watch television. The things in this room make me think of the beach, one of my favorite places. I think the room is welcoming, and it would be easy to clean. It would be amazing if my dream room was real! All About Me This year in school I want to be on Principal Honor Roll. In the near future, I would like to go on Pointe to help my dancing skills. When I grow up I want to join the Air Force, then become a lawyer. Much later on in life I would like to have a family of my own. All of the future depends on me right here, right now. All through life there are high points and low points. The best day of my life was the day I was born. Another great day was when I got my very own kitten for Easter. I was happy the day we for a puppy, crackers, to train for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. Crackers helped me learn how to train an animal, and she showed me that animals can make differences in peoples lives. I was very sad when I found out my great grandma had heart troubles, because she is a great person. When I made a new friend Rachel, I was very happy. Rachel turned out to be one of the best friends I ever had. It was awful when she moved away. My family is here for me, to celebrate the good and to comfort in the bad. People do day-to-day things, and that helps their lives flow smoothly. Every Wednesday night, I go to dance. Dancing helps keep me healthy, and I love dancing. I go to school to get an education. Making my brain work helps me be more intelligent. On Sundays I go to church to strengthen my relationship with God, and God helps me with everything. All of this makes my life easier, and more difficult, which makes my life flow normally. ![]() Fall Winter Research Paper: Spring Poetry: Spring Year-End Reflections and Comments: Spring | |
