My Father

Do you like gold? I love gold, I like the color, it reminds me of my dad. It’s the same color as his. He’s the gold standard of the family, because he is trustworthy, and truthful. Many men his age have gray hair, but he does not.

My dad has a very hard working personality trait. One time stands out in my mind, we had just finished our pancake breakfast, and were going to go upstairs to get ready for the yard work, but not my dad he had gotten up early just so he could start on the dishes he didn’t have to do. By the time we were finished and ready to help, he was down in the yard mowing the grass. He kept at it all day till he had to stop, because he was really tired, and that was well into the day.

My dad gets his strength from being quiet and alone. Sometimes it is funny because he likes to cook and grill meats. when we have guests especially when grandparents, aunts and uncles come over we have great dinners. Everyone gathers together, and eats and talks, but my dad just sits there and eats. He doesn’t really talk much but he can if he wants too.

This is my Visa Gold Dad. I hope you liked my character sketch of my dad. He is a high-quality standard that I want to become like. I would especially like to be as trustworthy as him. I also would like to become as hard working as he is.

Matt's Fantasy Room

Do you ever think about having a fantasy room? I do, and I have even come up with my own. It has a beige carpet with matching beige walls. It is rectangular and is twenty-five by fifteen feet. It has a diamond chandelier in the middle of the room. It gives off more than enough light to brighten up the room.

Once you get in my door, turn a ninety-degree angle, and you will see a desk. On the desk is a flat screen monitor with a keyboard and mouse, and also there is a CD burner. Also there is a lamp and surround sound. If you continue around the wall, you will see a fully stocked DVD library, complete with every DVD ever made. Further along is a CD library stocked with all my high-quality CDs. Going along is a video/computer library stocked with any and every game you can think of. That is all I could fit so that's it.

Once you get to the first end of my wall, make a left ninety-degree angle. You should see a vending/soda machine. It has all the first-rate refreshments and drinks. If you continue you will see an entertainment center. On it, you will see a Playstation2, Xbox, Gamecube, and DVD Player. Above the center is an eighty-five inch plasma screen TV. Wall number two is down. After the center is a corner which you turn on. There should be a small table with all my hand held games like Gameboy, GamneBoyAdvance, and Advance SP. I would have numerous games for each. Past that is a large stereo with even bigger speakers, and I use it specifically for my CDs and MP3s. After that is my feather bed with a nice soft pillow.

After that is the wall with my door. My door is made of strong oak with steel reinforcement. Its lock is of the deadbolt kind. Past the door is a battery dispenser. It dispenses only AA, AAA, D, and C batteries. The batteries are only Energizer brand. This wall is the most vacant one.

In the center of my room is a popcorn manufacturer, like the class in the movie theaters. There is also a couch for my friends and me to sit on. On the ceiling is a chandelier made of diamonds. It is one of the brightest in the world. The diamond enlarges the rays from the halogen lights.

I enjoy using this room because there is always something to do. I have my games, and I will bring my friends to it if I have nothing else to do. If I need a private place I can go to my room. I also like my room because I can eavesdrop safely on my sister. I can also talk to my friends on my computer.
