Fantasy Room Final Draft

Imagine having a night sky for a room. Well, that’s what my fantasy room looks like! The massive, square room is painted dark blue. A full moon is painted on one of the walls, and it is painted in glow-in-the-dark paint. Plus, for a super special effect, glow-in-the-dark stars plaster the ceiling, too. Soft, silky carpet that matches the walls covers the floor. Have I got you hooked yet? Read on to find out about my dream room!

When you walk in the door, to the left, you will see a bulky, silver dresser with an oval shaped mirror. Decorated on the drawers are small planets and stars. A massive rectangular bed with blue sheets and silver pillows is to the right of the dresser. Small crescent moon and star-shaped pillows are near the top of the bed. The side of the bed is touching the wall, so the end of the bed is facing the silver dresser.

Next to the bed on the second wall is a small, circular bedside table. A digital alarm clock is on the table facing the bed, and there is also a colossal lamp that looks like a shooting star next to the alarm clock. An enormous stereo is to the right of the table. Behind the stereo are two windows with flowing silver curtains. A polished telescope stands in front of the window, too.

On the next wall going clockwise, a tiny black box with three buttons sits next to the joining bathroom door. The buttons make a snack machine, DVD player, and sodas pop out. On the other side of the bathroom door, a dark blue beanbag chair sits next to a shelf overflowing with DVDs. There is an average sized television to the right of the shelf.

On the fourth wall, a crescent shaped chair is facing the telescope on the other side of the room. A silver and blue desk is to the right of the chair if you are facing the wall. A computer sits on the desk. To the right of the desk is a door leading to a walk-in closet. If you keep walking, you will come back to the door.

In the middle of the room, there is a gigantic star-shaped rug. It is the size of the bed. Two more beanbag chairs, both dark blue, sit next to the rug for when I have guests. Hope you enjoyed the tour!

I would enjoy being in this room because of the numerous high-tech things in it. I have a computer, television, stereo, and many other things. I chose the theme for this room to be stars and the sky because I enjoy learning about space. All of my friends would love it, but my little brother wouldn’t. That’s another reason I chose this room-I would have peace and quiet!

My Mom

You never know how much you rely on someone until they can’t be there to help you. I never realized that my mom helps me so much, that without her, I am completely lost. She helps me with school, Girl Scouts, and just about everything else. Sometimes I think I take her for granted. She is a very kind person, and she loves me very much.

My mom makes sure the family is happy. She is very thoughtful of my feelings. We went to Orlando, Florida for vacation last year. At the amusement park, I wanted to go on a ride called Storm Force Acceleration, but no one else wanted to go. My mom offered to go with me, because she knew I had been waiting for a long time to ride it. We ended up having a great time. I’m glad she went with me, because I got to spend time with her, and I realized how much she cared about me.

My mom has other personality traits. She is very helpful and loving. I remember when she helped me bake cookies for Easter last year. My mom and I both love to cook a lot, so we had a lot of fun. We probably baked over 200 cookies! I will always think of my mom whenever I walk into a kitchen that smells like chocolate chip cookies.

I love my mom very much. She has always been helpful and I don’t know what I’d do without her. I hope she realizes how much I care about her because she is a great friend to me.
