Fall
My Dream Room Wouldn’t it be awesome if you could make your own room without any limitations? Well, I thought of my own. The color of my room is a very dark blue. I wanted this color because it would be good when I watch movies, and it also is my most favorite color. I have ceiling lights throughout my entire room, then for night I have blue neon lights and black light that make bright colors glow. I have shag carpet because it is soft, and it feels relaxing under my feet. My room is shaped like a very long rectangle filled with many things. Right when you walk through the door, on your right is a table. On this table are a soda machine and a large popcorn machine. Then toward the middle of the room, next to the couch is a subwoofer. Subwoofers are boxes that are connected to a surround sound system, and it makes the room shake and vibrate. Then when you keep on walking along the wall, right of the door, is a speaker between where the wall and the end of the Jacuzzi meet it, is a 100 watt speaker as the other speakers are. There is a Jacuzzi it has a CD/FM/AM stereo in it, and it has fourteen jets. Then along the next wall or third wall of my room, there is a pool that takes up the space. The pool is separated from the rest of the room by a giant glass wall with a sliding door to get in. The pool is heated and the temperature is adjustable, so you can make it comfortable for the temperature outside. The only other opening to get inside of the pool besides the sliding glass door is he water slide. It is twenty-five feet high and sixty feet long. Then after that on the next wall is a restroom/locker room. Just like the other walls, there is a speaker and an additional subwoofer next to the couch. There is also a wall that is very long; next to the wall is an enormous gray button with numbers on it. It is a security system to retract the wall to my secret arcade. There are vending machines and a pool table inside. There is also a television with many game systems. Next, are the last wall and the unsurpassed one. It is a bare wall with a 200-inch projector screen that is retractable. Then there is an entertainment system that is contains my DVD player, VCR, satellite, receiver, stereo system, and game systems. Next toward the middle of the room is a huge black leather couch that turns into my bed. On top of the sofa is the projector. On the couch is a remote. The remote has buttons to control everything in my room. I like this room a lot. I like this room because it has everything I have always sought and that I ever sought to play with. I would spend time in this room a large number of times. I would bring my friends there to play or just hang out. I would mainly use this room because there is so much to do that it is practically impossible to be board. That is what is inside of my dream room and, why I would spend so much time in it. Tyler Slack My best friend is named Tyler Slack. He has been my best friend since the fourth grade. When school first started we did not really like each other, until we found out that we both played baseball on the same league and on the same team. Tyler has short, dark brown hair. His eyes are dark blue and he’s short like me. Tyler is a really good prankster. When I go to his house or if he comes to my house, we have to do at least one thing that is hilarious. It normally leads us to get in trouble. Once he brought us to Myrtle Beach. Our hotel room was on the first floor. We bought “poppers.” Poppers are little white balls that when you throw it on the ground it pops. Just about every time somebody walked by, we would chuck one at the ground. When it popped most people turned around and did not know that it was we. That one-week in Myrtle Beach was awesome. Just about everything Tyler does have to deal with sports, so he was very athletic. He has been playing baseball since the second grade; he’s been playing football since last year. Tyler also enjoys playing golf and basketball for fun. His favorite competitive sport is probably wrestling. Last year, I made the 2003 wrestling team for Saunders Middle School, and he did the same, except for Rippon Middle School. When try-outs were over, my first meet was at Rippon. The night before, he called me to say, “Get ready for a beating!” and, of course, I told him, to get ready to lose. The day came of the meet that I played Tyler’s team. When the meet ended, my team Saunders crushed them sixty-six to twenty four. Tyler and I are still friends, today. We call each other and go to each other’s houses. Both of us still play baseball, but out of the five years, ten seasons, I have only been on his team twice. It still does not matter though because we still are friends. ![]() Fall Winter Research Paper: Spring Poetry: Spring Year-End Reflections and Comments: Spring | |
