Fall
Goals for Seventh Grade My main goal for the seventh grade is to ultimately do well. This is important to me because all my life I have strived to do well in school. This year, it is especially important because I am taking a high school course. The grade I get on it will show up when I apply for college. It is also important for me to do well this year because I would like to be accepted into the National Junior Honor Society. The only way to get into the NJHS is to do well in academics and do community service. Doing well in the seventh grade also has to do with trying out for sports and clubs. In fact, some of my dreams for this year have to do with trying out for sports and clubs. My dreams are numerous. I have both short and long-term dreams. My sport dreams have to do with being on the track and soccer teams. These are two sports teams that I would really like to make because I greatly enjoy these sports. More dreams that I have for this for this year are to make the Regional or All-County orchestra. I enjoy playing my viola and hope to take my playing to a higher level. The Regional or All-County orchestra can help me achieve these dreams. I have far off dreams as well. Some of these are to become a famous lawyer, to travel the world and to become a well-known artist. With a little hard work and dedication these far off dreams can become a reality. The first of my high points is when I got my brick. The brick was given at my old school to students who maintained straight "A's" throughout the entire school year. This was a high point for me because I was awarded my brick at a fancy ceremony, and they gave me two copies of my brick, one to keep at home and the other that will remain in the walk of stars forever. There are three slightly smaller high points that are important all the same. One was making the school soccer team because I really enjoy soccer, and I was really hoping to make the team. Another high point is making straight "A's" because academics arte really important to me. Last but not least is being first chair in the violas because I loved that feeling of leadership. All my high points are equally important to me, and I hope that I have many more. My main low point is when my grand ma died. Now I have only one grandma, and she lives with us. My grandma had been sick for a long time, and we sent money to her every week. We tried everything, but all failed and she died. That was a long time ago but I still get sad when I think about it. I still have one grandma though and for that I am thankful. My second low point is not as sad. It is when I got hospitalized for a severe asthma attack. I have weaker lungs than most people because I am premature, and had a bad case of bronchitis that worsened, due to my asthma. It is scary when I have a serious attack, and I am glad that I got medical attention in time. From my low points I have learned that no matter how bad things get I will persevere. I do numerous monotonous things every day such as eating and sleeping. I also do things that vary a bit from day to day such as homework and practicing my instrument. From doing these things I have learned that no matter how boring things seem you must do them anyway. Doing these things builds up to something great so you must stick to it. Fantasy Room How many people actually deem their room just a place to slumber? I do not believe that there are many of you. A room is a place where you spend most of your time. It is important that it represents your own fashion and looks how you desire it to. My dream room is exceptionally grand, rectangular, and spacious. It has orbs of white light that give of a soft glow, floating in the air. Above the central area of my room is a loft that goes around the perimeter. It has doors leading to additional parts of my room, such as the swimming pool. My wall and carpet color are always changing, but at this time the walls are a cerulean type of blue and the carpet is a deep royal blue. When you enter my room and look to the immediate left there is a wall of doors. These doors lead to my lavatory, garment closet, and shoe closet in that order. In between my lavatory and my garment closet, there is a large window. Altogether, there is not much to observe on this wall. On the wall across from my door, there is a computer on a large desk. Next to that there is a three- way mirror embedded into the wall. Lying on the wall next to that is my alarm clock. Finally, there is my double king sized bed in the corner. This wall also has my artwork and awards mounted on it. Resting on the wall to the right of the entrance there is another great window a couple of feet from the base of the bed. Farther down the wall is my big-screen television and entertainment center. Inside the entertainment center are immense speakers that I listen to music with. This is on the whole my amusement wall. On my concluding wall, there are a couple of bookcases in the corner. Next to those is my provisions dispenser. This is a really bare wall. I have a couple of pictures of family and friends hanging on this wall. To the right of the door, but still toward the center of the room, there is a table with stools around it. Above that there is my coffee table with couches around it. Next to that is my makeup center. I would enjoy being in this room because it has every thing that I could ever need. I would often hold slumber parties and invite my friends over. It would be a good place to just hang out. I would redecorate whenever possible to fit my mood. A room is an important place, and you should make it what you want it to be. ![]() Fall Winter Research Paper:Spring Poetry: Spring Year-End Reflections and Comments:Spring | |
