Max….
I went to the lake
But remembered what you said,
You told me to keep safe,
And I tried, I really did,
I felt proud of myself,
Im sure you would have too,
If only you could see me,
And all the things I had to do,
We were swimming and having fun,
And I didn’t even know it until I was
gone,
I jumped out of the boat,
Not realizing it was my last time,
Told my friends to “get in with me”,
“The water seems fine”,
Joe followed me and Kyle was on his way,
Before I knew what had happened,
That was my last day,
I couldn’t see, I couldn’t speak,
I could only feel what had happened,
As the terrible shock went through my
body,
I couldn’t feel anything anymore,
I heard screams and cries,
But there was nothing I could do,
So these are my final moments,
And Im sharing them with you,
I wish you could hold me,
Or bring me back to life,
I wish I could tell you goodbye,
Tell you it was ok,
I cannot do any of these,
But there’s one thing I can,
I can tell you to remember me,
Like I will remember you!
“There it is”, Kristina said. “The limo, the limo!” All six
girls, Kristina, Kristin, Brittany, Sammy, Jaime and Ashley ran out side to go
and see the limo. It was Ashley’s 13th birthday and they were going in a limo to
a club, but little did they know what was going to happen. “Everyone go inside
and get everything settled and we will meet you at the club”, Ashley’s mom
yelled.
“This is going to be so much fun”, they all screamed. Jaime and Kristin were
opening sodas for everybody, Sammy and Kristina were fooling around with the
radio and Ashley and Brittany were getting the camera ready to take pictures.
They opened up the sunroof and took turns looking out into the starry sky. It
was about 7:00pm and all of a sudden there were weird noises. “Turn down the
radio” Brittany told Sammy”, I hear something strange”. The radio was turned
down and a huge flash struck the sky…
“Where are we?” Kristin asked.
Everyone was looking around with puzzled looks on their faces and out of
no-where there were little aliens flying all around them. They sky was pitch
black and all you could see were the little green aliens. Then, everything
started floating. “Oh my god”, screamed Ashley. Jaime started looking at the
aliens and said” Uh-uh, no they didn’t!” Everyone started laughing and at the
same time they all said, “Uh-huh, yea they did!” And then….
The sky turned blue again and they
all fell into the middle of the dance floor at the club. The music was going
and they all got up and started freak dancing. “Man”, Ashley said, “I think we
were kidnapped by aliens!”
Do you think
people should be arrested for burning a flag? That is a question that is
unanswered and we need to come up with a resolution to. In the next few
paragraphs, I am going to tell you how I feel about the subject and how I feel
the situations should be handled.
I think that people shouldn't be
arrested for burning the flag, but people shouldn't be irrelevant to the fact
either. "Burning" a flag can be at in two ways. Some people think
that when you burn a flag you are just burning a piece of material, and other
people think that you aren't being patriotic or you don't care about your
country. I fell that it is both ways.
If you decide to burn a flag like a
man named David Stout, then you would probably be arrested. Stout was arrested
for burning a flag at his own will in an alley behind his house. He remained in
jail after a court judge lowered his bond from $9,000 to $2,000. In my opinion
I don't think that he should have been arrested because he didn't hurt anyone
or anything. It would be a different story if he had done so though. The first
amendment in the constitution says that burning a flag is symbolic speech.
Congress cannot pass a law because they haven't amended the first amendment in
order to make an exception to such laws.
In the end, I don't think it is
necessary for anyone to burn a flag. If they want to get rid of a flag, then
maybe they should just give the flag to someone else. People don't need to be
burning flags and even if they don't I don't think that they should be
arrested.

Who is Elvis and why was he so famous ? Elvis Presley had

the world. Elvis had over 110 gold

any other of the "greatest" singers.
Elvis was born in Memphis

When Elvis was 11, he got his first guitar for his birthday. From that point,
he was a rock star.
In 1953, Elvis recorded his first single, “That’s when the heartache begins”.

mama”, which became a big hit. Elvis recorded songs and appeared on shows up

In 1958, Elvis’s mother,
Gladys Presley, was hospitalized with acute hepatitis. Elvis went to

Elvis Presley
made the announcement that they were going to have a baby. They got ready and
bought a
house in Graceland. After 9 months had passed, on February 1st, 1968, Lisa

president, Richard Nixon. A couple
months later, Elvis and Priscilla separated. They finally divorce on October 9,
1973. Elvis was
hospitalized all through the later months of 1973. He was there for recurring
pneumonia and
pleurisy, an enlarged colon and hepatitis . In November of 1976, Elvis and
Linda Thompson split
up and Elvis meets Ginger Alden who is his girlfriend until his death. On
August 16, 1977 Elvis
died in his home at Graceland. Thousands of people came to the funeral because
of all the fans
that loved him.
Elvis set fashion trends all
over the world. He was known for his unique style of hair and
accessories. He would appear on TV wearing a plain suit or jacket and pants. In
the later
sixties, he would wear tight leather suits and clothes of a more distinct
style. His shoes were
always noticeable but the ones that he wore most often were his gaitors, which
are a type of
high-heeled boots. Everyone loved Elvis’s hair ! He used tons of hair products
to make it stiff
and sculpted it to look “perfect”! Elvis’s good looks attracted many fans but
there was also the
love for his music.
Elvis would try his hardest to
go out and please his fans on what he was doing. If there was anything
wrong with something on one of his
albums then he would go out and fix it. People today, all over the world, dress
up as him for all different occasions. He is the most acted out person in
history to this day. He showed young people that no matter where you’re from or
what you do, you can always follow your dreams and that’s is why he is admired
so much.
In conclusion, there are
many people that loved Elvis for what he did for the country and for his music.
He was talented, had good looks, and was full of humor. He is one of the most
important people of the 1960's and he is an icon. People today, still look up
to what he did and some of them still think that he is alive.......

The day we met
I had the oddest feeling
I didn't know what it was
So I just brushed it off
After a while I found myself waiting
Waiting for that phone call every day
The one I always got from you
Every night I went to bed happy
Happy that I had talked to you
Every morning I would wakeup
And think of you
The day you asked me out
I was on cloud nine
I couldn't stop thinking of you
The time we spent together
I was always so happy
Then one day
It was gone
Everything
The hand holding
The cuddling
The drives
The times we spent
looking into each other's eyes
The long good- byes
Everything
Just vanished
Everything
except one thing
The one thing that can't be taken from me
That's my love for you
It's here from now
And forever
Diamonte
Day,
Fun, Hyper,
Talking, Screaming, Running,
Friends, lockers,
Family, Bed,
Sleeping, Thinking, Watching,
Dark, Silent,
Night
Through thick and thin you were my friend
Leaning on you, you gave me support
The strength to get up and go again
If my heart was shattered, you’d heal it
If my heart was happy, we’d both rejoice
in it
You are my best friend
Always and forever
Its been good
The best friendship ever
Never end, now & Forever
