Kidnapped by ALIENS!!!

I was at a party when this happened. It was too crowded inside so I went onto the deck were there was some kids in a group. They were looking at something that was in the middle of all of them. I went up there and asked, "What are you guys looking at?" One of the kids said, "I don't know… we were just talking and it flew down from the sky." I toke a peek at it, it looked like a Frisbee with dents in it. It appeared to be metal and felt very cold. They went inside to show everyone. "Hey everyone! Come look at what we found!" Everyone gathered around and poked at it. The dish thing opened up and started to glow. The house started to shake and since there wasn't anyone upstairs, I knew it had to be an earthquake or the dish thing. But since we lived in Virginia, there weren't any earthquakes so it had to be the dish thing. It started to get brighter, and brighter, and brighter, until it blinded everyone in the house. Or it seemed… they were just standing there as if it happened before and they were used to it. They started to wave good-bye with a smirk on their faces. They started to act strangely… but before I could see the rest, a flash struck me in the face and I was blind for a period of time. When I woke I saw them, the kids from the party…

Change Essay for "Driving Miss Daisy"

There were positive and negative changes in “Driving Miss Daisy”. The state troopers and Idella dying were negative. The positive things are Daisy teaching Hoke how to read and them becoming friends. The last main idea is the characters having positive or negative changes on them.

The two state troopers had negative changes on Hoke. They pulled them, Miss Daisy and Hoke, over. They were in Hoke’ s new car. The troopers probably thought the car was stolen because Hoke was driving, and he is black. The next thing the troopers said was the bad word for blacks. Hoke said that Alabama didn’t have a good first impression on him. The other thing that was negative was the death of Idella. Idella was the housekeeper of Miss Daisy’s house. She was pealing peas when she died. She died because she got too old and too weak.

The positive things were Miss Daisy teaching Hoke how to read and the relationship, as a friend, of Miss Daisy and Hoke. Miss Daisy taught Hoke how to read when they went to the cemetery. She told Hoke to put some flowers near a tombstone but he said that he could not read. Miss Daisy then told Hoke to sound out the words and he put the flowers on the right stone. That’s how he learned how to read. The other positive thing was how they became friends. Hoke became Miss Daisy’s car driver and they were talking to each other, most of it was Miss Daisy telling Hoke what to do, then, after a few years, Miss Daisy starts to care about Hoke, in a friend way, and then they become friends!

The other main idea is about the positive and negative changes on just the characters. Miss Daisy became nicer to Hoke (positive). Hoke got paid more (positive). Boolie is married to Flourine (negative). This is the end of this main idea thing.

As I conclude, positive and negative changes happened in the story. There were more positive changes, I think, than negative changes. Again, the main ideas were the negative stuff, the positive stuff, and the negative and positive changes on the characters.

2.“Cutting a diamond is the same as going to school”
I like this one because it is true. Cutting a diamond is hard, so is going to school. When cutting, it will take a long, hard time. When in school, we work long and hard to get A’s. But when we are all done and do a good job on it, we get money either selling the diamond or getting money on the report card when you bring home the good grades.
